Javier Krahe

Javier Krahe is among the many enigmatic singer/songwriters in the Spanish picture. Equipped with a biting irony and a deep like of Georges Brassens and Leonard Cohen, Krahe provides led a profession aside from mainstream stations and is rolling out a devoted cult following along the way. Blessed in Madrid in 1944, Krahe began business research, which he still left unfinished. In 1967 he resolved in Paris, where he composed his initial lyrics using his sibling Jorge. In 1989, back Spain, the vocalist released his initial function, Valle de Lágrimas, offering his characteristically scathing love of life and simple preparations deeply influenced by Brassens. After his debut, a string of information had been released with little if any label support. Krahe’s onslaughts against Spain’s regulating party as well as the shape of Christ on tv did not donate to his capability to reach wider viewers, either. In 2004, a few of his close friends collected up to record a tribute recording entitled Y Todo Sera Vanidad, including such numbers as Enrique Morente, Alejandro Sanz, Joan Manuel Serrat, and Joaquín Sabina. Cinturón Negro de Karaoke arrived in 2006.
