Zaki Ibrahim

Zaki Ibrahim is definitely a Canadian neo-soul singer having a wide-ranging design that encompasses hip-hop and spoken term aswell as jazz and world music. Created in Vancouver, English Columbia, she actually is the girl of the South African dad and a Scottish mom. While developing up she journeyed backwards and forwards from Canada to South Africa, where she spent lots of time in Cape City. She later centered herself in Toronto and embarked on the musical profession. Ibrahim co-founded the label Area Six Music and produced her commercial documenting debut with Shö: Iqra in Orange (2006), a ten-track EP. A few years later on she came back with Eclectica (Shows in Crimson) (2008), an eight-track EP released in colaboration with the Sony Music subsidiary Crimson Printer ink Music. Her music “Cash” was nominated for R&B/Spirit Recording of the entire year in the JUNO Honours in ’09 2009.
