This mid- to late-’50s vocal group on Dootone is most beneficial known for the songs “The Letter,” “Edna,” and “Buick ’59.” The group got two distinct edges to its function, passionate ballads sung directly, in nearly agonizing purity, and quicker rocking numbers which were partially tongue in cheek.
