Ivinho

Ivinho can be an important name in the forming of the pop/rock and roll design forged in the Northeast in the ’60s and ’70s, which would produce performers like Alceu Valença, Zé Ramalho, Ednardo, among others. Being a virtuoso guitarist, he inspired pop/rock and roll music in the Northeast and participated in seminal rings like Tamarineira Community and Ave Sangria. He was an associate of Alceu Valença’s music group and documented albums for many performers like Ednardo, Xangai, and Essential Farias. His apex was his single performance on the Montreux International Jazz Celebration in 1978, where he performed mostly styles improvised within the spur of as soon as only on his 12-string acoustic guitar. The display was documented and released as Ivinho Ao Vivo (Warner). Ivinho were only available in music in 1966 as an associate from the dance music group Operating-system Selvagens.
