Vayo

Tango vocalist Vayo (pronounced vah-djoh) Raimondo, who have performs under his initial name, was created and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, which, alongside Buenos Aires, Argentina, promises to be among the two metropolitan areas where in fact the tango originated. A descendent of Italian immigrants, he grew up on opera in the home, but was drawn to the tango music he noticed on the air. His profession in music came into being gradually, paralleled by way of a nonmusical profession that discovered him employed in the U.S. being a structural engineer. He also resided in Italy while carrying on to pursue his fascination with tango, lecturing on the annals from the music on the College or university of Oslo, Norway, in 1998. In 2004, he led a troupe of music artists and ballet dancers on the tour of European countries. His debut record, I Am a Tango, was accompanied by At the Advantage of Evening, and, in 2006, Tango Legends.
