The Quiet Ones

Former members from the eclectic Muckafurgason, Brooklyn’s the Calm Types are Andy Ure and Chris Anderson, who play kid-friendly tracks about specific things like bananas and crayons collection to adult, ’60s-rooted pop melodies. The theory for the task found fruition when Ure required friendly music for his girl and wasn’t pleased with what was obtainable. The duo released their debut, Make Some Sound, in June 2005.
