Black Violin

Called after an album by golf swing era violinist Factors Smith, Dark Violin is definitely a violin and viola-playing hip-hop duo from Florida comprising classically qualified musicians Kevin Sylvester (“Kev Marcus”) and Wilner Baptiste (“Wil B”), who add a selection of genres to their distinctive string fare. The set fulfilled as high-school college students inside a Fort Lauderdale carrying out arts system and shaped the group after going to separate colleges. Quickly getting a reputation for his or her dynamic performance design, the duo received nationwide publicity after an appearance with Alicia Secrets in the 2004 Billboard Honours and earning the talent display Showtime in the Apollo in 2005.
