Vance Terry

Vance Terry earned the majority of his status as Billy Jack port Wills’ metal guitarist in the 1950s. A disciple of Plant Remington, Noel Boggs, and Speedy Western, the teenaged Terry was employed after Wills’ unique metal guitarist, Tommy Varner, was drafted in 1951. Terry quickly founded himself like a formidable skill, adding the ultimate kick towards the band’s audacious, R&B-inflected audio. He remained using the group, broadcasting over Sacramento’s KFBK radio until 1954 when he was employed by Bob Wills. After several periods for MGM, nevertheless, Terry still left for university.
