A Bronx resident because the age of eight, spirit siren Traedonya fell deeply in love with hip-hop due to Run-D.M.C.. When hip-hop tale Pumpkin noticed the 13-year-old rapping, he released her to Aaron Fuchs, who released her 1st single, “Perform the Boogaloo,” by himself Tuff Town in 1986. She later on spent time dealing with X-Clan so that as the business lead singer for Test This!, who got a self-titled recording released in 1993 by Elektra. Following the music group imploded, Traedonya researched jazz with Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, Chico Hamilton, and Reggie Workman. Merging her jazz and hip-hop history with funk and home music, Traedonya debuted her fresh sound for the solitary “Beloved,” released in 2003 by Prohibition.
