Ben’s Diapers

After playing in several different bands through the entire Turku, Finland, area, the lineup of Jaakko Söderström (guitar/vocals), Mikko Lappalainen (drums), Vesa Salonen (bass/vocals), Mikko Närvä (guitar), and Panu Jaakkola (guitar) ultimately settled with Ben’s Diaper in 1996. Using the purpose of just attempting to write several pop gems without the gimmickry, the band’s usage of melodic power pop and exclusive tri-guitar technique will be ultimately captured on the 1998 debut one “Warriorette” b/w “Frankfurt Am Primary.” Released through Popatak Information, the band continuing to develop their discography using their 1999 solitary NEVADA and their 1st full-length, Celebrate the Cliché, the next year.
