The U-Krew

The U-Krew (brief for the Untouchable Krew) signed to Enigma and released one self-titled album before splitting. The Portland quintet was produced by programmer/manufacturer Larry Bell and vocalist Kevin Morse within the middle-’80s, but their initial and only record didn’t turn out until 1989. Backed by way of a trio of singles, just “IN THE EVENT THAT YOU Were Mine” were able to top in the very best 30 from the pop graph (“I WANT TO Be YOUR COMPANION” and “Ugly” had been another singles), as well as the group presumably had been no longer soon after that. Like many groups of enough time, the U-Krew combined hip-hop components with R&B.
