Ricky and the Hallmarks

Produced in 1962 in Queens, NY, USA, this vocal quartet comprised Rick Lisi (lead), Dennis McMahon (tenor), Tom ‘Bix’ Boyle (further tenor) and Jack port Scandura (baritone and bass). Introduced to vocalist/manufacturer Mike Lewis (previously from the Concords), he provided Ricky AS WELL AS THE Hallmarks the melody which will be their debut in support of one, ‘Wherever You Are’. Regional disk jockey Murray The K supported the b-side selection, ‘Oh Mary Don’t You Weep’, and having less exposure allocated the greater amazing a-side was certainly of great hindrance with their professions. Lisi and Scandura sang support vocals with Lewis’ Concords on the ‘Cool And Frosty Morning hours’ one in 1963, before functioning (once again with Lewis) as the Uniques. By this aspect Ricky AS WELL AS THE Hallmarks were currently background. Lisi released a single one (‘The River’), but appreciated more significant achievement in 1985 when Roddie Pleasure took his melody, ‘Come Back again Baby’, in to the nationwide charts. The various other three previous Hallmarks formed an organization in 1963 entitled the Blend-Aires. Previous member Beverly Warren also documented solo.
