Sexualized and risqué just like her name suggests, Florida club rapper Riskay found out her audience about the web and blogosphere with her 2007 underground strike, “Smell Yo Dick.” A indigenous of Bartow, a little town in central Florida between Tampa and Orlando, Riskay joined the rap market beneath the tutelage of maker/songwriter Bigg Baby (Trina) close to the end from the ’90s, though she in the beginning had no curiosity about rapping or documenting music herself. She, obviously, changed her brain and jumped in the remix for Florida rapper/manufacturer Light Dawg’s “Pop a Tablet” in 2002. The cut was performed heavily in night clubs and on radio in Florida, and DJs shortly requested even more remixes in the filthy rap belle, like the tune “Pay out Up,” a reply to YoungBloodZ’s “Damn!” Her very own first documenting was the arousing “My Candy,” that was made by Bigg Baby and released in 2005. The tune was popular with the most common membership and radio retailers, but it addittionally appreciated some on-air rotation sporadically through the entire South and Midwest. In 2007, Riskay’s “Smell Yo Dick” one (cleansed up for radio as “Who You Creeping With”) provided her national publicity, including a write-up in THE BRAND NEW York Moments for the song’s breakout.
