An obscure British-invasion era quartet signed to the Philips label, their perhaps most obviously attribute aside from a pleasingly melodious debut single, “After Tomorrow,” — done in a completely Beatle-esque mode — were their flamboyant outfits — done in the way from the Pearly Kings and Queens — a charitable group longer from the cockneys. Their second solitary, “I UNDERSTAND You’re Gonna Become Mine” b/w “Oh No YOU WILL NOT,” was also their last, although their debut record was also reissued, probably due to the group’s appearance miming (and offering the starting and shutting credit music) in the film Go Proceed, Big Defeat. The latter offers became their one long lasting legacy in well-known lifestyle, as neither Philips nor some of its offshoot or successor brands have seen suit to reissue the Cockneys’ music.
