The Crimson Shadows were one of the Swedish bands from the 1980s to emulate the sound of psychedelic-hued 1960s American garage rock, using the requisite cheesy organ, attitude-laden vocals and lyrics, and vocal harmonies to tell apart it through the less melodic punk from the post-’60s variety. They place it out several very uncommon singles, and even though they disbanded in 1986, they briefly reunited in 1988 to record a mini-album. People of the group continued to join additional retro-styled Swedish rings, like the Stomachmouths as well as the Wylde Mammoths. Guitarists Mans P. Mansson and Jonas Lundberg had been still playing collectively in the first 21st century within another Swedish garage area music group, the Maggots.
