The Bible Code Sundays

Originally called Slainte, the London-based Irish rock sextet Bible Code Sundays changed their name if they began composing their own songs instead of within the classics. Fronted by Ronan MacManus (sibling of Declan MacManus, better referred to as Elvis Costello), the music group also offers the skills of Andy Nolan (Shane MacGowan & the Popes), Carlton Hunt (Poor Manners), Enda Mulloy, Joe Moran, and Patrick Franklin. A favorite act within the London pub picture, Bible Code Sundays blend the traditional seems of their Irish history with the newer sounds of rock and roll & move and punk. The band’s debut recording, Spirits of Our History, found its way to 2006, accompanied by Footwear or No Footwear in 2007.
