Suns of Thyme

A German heavy-psych outfit based away of Berlin, Suns of Thyme hire a heady mixture of space rock and roll, bluesy prog-rock, shoegaze, and post-punk. Citing an array of influences including Hawkwind, Velvet Underground, Sisters of Mercy, Flaming Lip area, Pink Floyd, as well as the Remedy, the band created in 2011 round the skills of Tammo Dehn (synths/percussion/sampler), Tobias Feltes (vocals/acoustic guitar/sitar), Tim Hoppe (acoustic guitar), Jascha Kreft (drums/vocals), and Jens Rosenkranz (bass). In 2013 the group released their debut recording, Fortune Shelter Like, independently. It captured the interest of Napalm Information, which authorized the band the next 12 months. Suns of Thyme’s sophomore studio room long-player and 1st outing for the label, Cascades, adopted in June 2016.
