Within the wake of Soundgarden’s breakthrough success within the ’90s, several groups made a decision to follow within the famed Seattle quartet’s footsteps with an identical heavy Sabbath-esque sound. One particular music group was the trio Sugartooth — Tag Hutner (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Josh Blum (bass) had been the group’s mainstays, became a member of by a couple of different drummers (Joey Castillo and Dusty Watson) throughout their brief career. The seed products from the music group had been planted in the first ’90s when Hutner and Blum fulfilled one another while fronting independent rock bands within the Southern California region.
