Suba

Suba was a manufacturer who had important involvement along the way of inserting electronic sonorities within the Brazilian pop audio within the ’90s. Suba (Mitar Subotic) found its way to Brazil on March 15, 1990, having a UNESCO scholarship or grant. No one understood him, but he opened up his method and started to screen his function in music, theatre, dance, style, and marketing. Among his many notable functions as producer will be the albums Tanto Tempo (Bebel Gilberto), Pierrot perform Brasil (Marina Lima), Benzina (Edgard Scandurra), and Fuá na Casa de Cabral (Mestre Ambrósio). His 1st solo recording, São Paulo Confessions (released in the U.S. by Ziriguiboom, 1999), was praised by worldwide specialized magazines. Suba died inside a open fire in his house in São Paulo on November 2, 1999. The SUBA Institute was made to celebrate his memory space.
