Stubborn Heart

They are classified as post-dubstep and downtempo, but London, England’s Stubborn Heart — Luca Santucci and Ben Fitzgerald — describe themselves as electronic soul. If they teamed up this year 2010, Santucci currently had an extended discography like a single designer and collaborator; he documented for the Cooltempo label through the early ’90s and made an appearance on albums by AS YOU (1997’s Planetary Folklore, offering an incredible start “From All this”), Leila, Herbert, Playgroup, and Edwyn Collins. In 2011, he and Fitzgerald debuted as Stubborn Center with “Want Somebody,” a white-label 12″. A yr later, after putting your signature on to One Small Indian, the duo released a self-titled recording backed by BBC 6 Music DJ Gilles Peterson. In 2013, Stubborn Heart’s eponymous debut premiered in america.
