Stratochief

Produced in the past due ’90s by Greg McConnell, this group performed throughout the Toronto area covering traditional country tunes in addition to odd countrified addresses, like the Moody Blues’ “Evenings in Light Satin.” Over the release of the debut record, Turbines for Speed in 1999, McConnell passed on in his rest on the camping trip. Instead of contact it a time, the group made a decision to keep on and came back to the studio room to record their sophomore work. Including associates of Ron Sexsmith, the Supers, and Blue Rodeo, amongst others, the music group released Searching for the Seven Feet Girl in March 2002. Constructed on traditional nation but with wonderful building harmonies, the group in addition has performed at Canadian Music Week along with the North By North East Festival.
