Shotgun Messiah

Though possessing of undeniable talent, the members of Shotgun Messiah were often accused to be rather shameless opportunists (occasionally mockingly dubbed “Bandwagon Messiah”) because of their constant changes in musical direction. Regardless of the truth behind their inspiration, the Swedish music group spent a long time waiting around on deck because of their shot at stardom, but under no circumstances quite got the nod through the gods of rock and roll & roll. Motivated with the flamboyant hard rock and roll bands flowing away from L.A. through the early ’80s, bassist Tim Skold, guitarist Harry Cody, and fabulously called drummer Stixx Galore shaped glam rock-band King Pin within their indigenous Skovde, Sweden. After drafting vocalist Zinny J. San a short while later, the music group kicked off their profession using a 7″ one entitled Shout It Out in 1987. Released the next season, their Sweden-only first record, Thanks for visiting Bop Town, was an area smash, prompting the music group to uproot to L.A., modification their name to Shotgun Messiah, after that remix and re-package the record as their worldwide debut (also known as Shotgun Messiah and released in 1989). San departed immediately after, but the music group didn’t blink, employing brand-new bassist Bobby Lycon in order that Skold could believe vocal responsibilities. This lineup documented 1991’s enthusiastically received (a minimum of by the mass media) Second Arriving along with a punk addresses E.P., I’D LIKE More, just before splitting in two when the tempo section quit. Skold afterwards pursued a single career.
