Born for an artistic Arkansas family members, vocalist/songwriter S.J. Tucker took motivation from Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, and Ani DiFranco when she started executing in 1997. She produced her first music group, Skinny Light Chick, in 1999; after playing some celebrations in 2002 and launching her first record, Haphazard, Tucker made a decision to turn into a full-time musician in 2004. That same calendar year, she met fireplace spinner Kevin Wiley. Both strike it off instantly and produced the functionality troupe Fireplace and Strings, which performed at Burning up Man in 2005. A calendar year afterwards, Tucker co-founded the Western world Coast music group/musical collective Tricky Pixie with Betsy Tinney and Alexander Adam Adams. In 2007, she released Blessings and Solace and Sorrow , a partner album towards the Catherynne M. Valente novel The Orphan’s Stories: Within the Cities of Gold coin and Spice.
