Ronnie Kemper

b. 1 August 1907, Missoula, Montana, USA, d. 16 Feb 1997, Sacramento, California, USA. When Kemper considered music group leading in 1942, he previously already produced his name with Dick Jurgens’ orchestra from 1934-40, playing on the massive strike, ‘Cecilia’. He also made an appearance often in Horace Heidt’s Container Of Silver radio show, as well as the film of equivalent title. He utilized this popularity to patch together his initial dance music group in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA with vocalist Ruth Russell.
