James Mason

Guitarist/keyboardist Adam Mason was an associate of Roy Ayers’ legendary past due-’70s jazz-funk music group, building his most prominent appearance in the 1977 LP Lifeline and its own Mason showcase trim “Jogging Away.” That same calendar year, Mason documented his debut single album, Tempo of Lifestyle, for the small New York indie label Chiaroscuro. It went of print within an extremely small amount of time, and Mason hardly ever recorded a different one, virtually disappearing from view.
