Aurelio Gomes

Aurélio Gomes was among the founders from the initial samba college of Rio de Janeiro, Deixa Falar, in the Estácio hill. He’s the alleged author of, amongst others, the samba “Arrasta a Fine sandália,” which experienced many re-recordings and it is a true traditional; but relating to Ismael Silva, they noticed the song inside a Mangue (the Rio’s historic and extinct low prostitution area) cabaret, with a drunken Northeastern frequenter.
