Jazz pianist Roberto Carcasses is becoming among Cuba’s most prominent players and arrangers, collaborating with Selma Reis on Surroundings of Havana and Gema Con Pavel’s Trampas Del Tiempo. Being a bandleader he provides released 1998’s Jazz Timbero and 2000’s Invitation. The Irakere Band’s Cesar Lopez and Alfredo Thompson are simply two of the helping associates in Carcasses’ Havana-based music group.
