Rita del Prado

Graduated in the School of Havana, keeping a psychology degree, singer/songwriter Rita del Prado began singing while taking part in local student festivals. Afterwards, having the possibility to play along with well-known artists such as for example Vicente Feliú, Eduardo Peralta, and Marta Campos. Motivated by children’s music, Rita del Prado documented Maravilla Malabar in 1994, Casi lo Digo and Reunión de Magos in 1997, and became a member of a compilation known as Antología de la Nueva Trova in 1998. Rita del Prado may be the creator of Movimiento por la Canción Infantil Latinoamericana y del Caribe, a business to promote kids music throughout Latin America.
