Redd Sullivan

Redd Sullivan’s vocals had been necessary to the sound from the Thameside 4, a past due ’50s skiffle group that served as the initial band featuring important Uk folk guitarist and vocalist Martin Carthy. The group, which also included Pete Maynard and Marian Grey, recorded one record, Hootenanny in London. Released in 1964, the record was recorded throughout a functionality at a midnight folk concert and highlighted Sullivan performing a duet, “With the finish of Me Aged Cigar,” with Carthy. Sullivan afterwards appeared over the multi-artist compilation, The Blues at Sunrise, with trio that also highlighted vocalist/guitarists Gerry Lockran and Dave Travis.
