Increasing youth R&B celebrity Tarver first started carrying out live at age eight, and within five years experienced secured a significant label recording agreement with Virgin Information. Tarver, who’s handled by Chris Stokes (also behind US teenager trend Immature with whom Tarver also toured), produced his debut in Apr 1996 with ‘It’s You That’s On My Brain’, an extremely stylized, industrial R&B record targeted squarely at adolescent viewers. It was adopted later in the entire year by Tarver’s debut recording, which appealed over the American teen marketplace but was harshly regarded as by critics.
