La Ruda

French ska-punk combo La Ruda shaped in Saumur in 1993. Originally dubbed La Ruda Salska, a name acknowledged to both Polish town of the same name aswell as some in-joke cross of “salsa” and “ska,” the group’s roster comprised vocalist Pierrot, guitarists Ritchoune and Fred, bassist Xavier, saxophonist Philly, trumpeter Daddy, trombonist Roro, and drummer Manu. After creating a rabid cult pursuing on the effectiveness of their high-energy live models, La Ruda Salska released their debut LP, La Prix du Silence, in 1996. L’Art de la Joie adopted two years later on, and its achievement landed the music group a cope with the Yelen Musiques label. The 2000 live LP La Ruda Salska en Concert heralded the brand new label offer, and a yr later on they resurfaced with Traveler du Reel, their best-selling work to day. With 2004’s 24 Pictures Seconde the music group officially abbreviated its name to basically La Ruda. La Ruda Dans la Vapeur et le Bruit strike retail a yr later on, and in nov 2006 they came back with La Trajectoire de l’Homme Cannon.
