Whilst productions below his very own name have explored electro and hearing techno, Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems guise remained the house for his productions nearest towards the percussive, banging techno he produced through the early ’90s. The alias started quite early as well, with some Planetary Funk EPs documented for Peacefrog from 1993. Several monitors from the initial volumes from the series made an appearance on 1995’s Archives. His initial full-length beneath the guise, Electric powered Funk Machine, made an appearance in 1997 and was adopted one year later on from the Drone Sector. He continuing the Planetary Funk series until 1999, after that initiated the Coad Warrior trilogy in 2000. Third LP Atomic Funkster found its way to 2001. Archives Two adopted in 2002, and Slater took a brief break from your alias before time for it in 2006 using the EP Deep Heet, Vol. 1, the 1st launch on his Mote-Evolver label. He continuing releasing songs on Mote-Evolver and Ostgut Lot, which released full-lengths Temporary Suspension system (2009) as well as the Messenger (2011). Singles and remix 12″s continuously continuing on both brands, as well as the full-length Arc Angel made an appearance on Ostgut Lot in 2016.
