Jenna Mammina

Jenna Mammina combines together folk music, pop, and jazz in her performing. She’s a gentle tone of voice, improvises with subtlety, and leaves listeners using a content sense. Mammina sang in cathedral from age five, made an appearance in college musicals, performed with regional bands, discovered piano and electric guitar, and frequently sang with her family members. She went to Central Michigan College or university, Michigan State College or university, and Laney University in Oakland, settling in the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Bay region. Mammina has documented five CDs around this writing, which are on her behalf label, Mamma Sophistication. Her music runs from Abbey Lincoln to Elvis Costello and frequently co-stars guitarist Andre Bush. She’s performed with Bobby McFerrin, Bobby Watson, Nancy Ruler, Andy Narell, and Steve Coleman and in a few years performs just as much as 250 moments.
