Music Blues

Sludgy and powerful, Music Blues may be the single task of Harvey Dairy bassist Stephen Tanner. Having split up with his partner, Tanner discovered himself sticking to fellow Harvey Dairy member Creston Spiers, with whom he was said to be working on brand-new materials for the renowned art-sludge outfit. Rather, Tanner discovered himself functioning through his melancholy by indulging in booze and 90210 marathons and conceiving the task that could become Music Blues. The music he had written during this time period would continue to be his debut record, Things Haven’t Eliminated Well, that was released on Thrill Jockey in 2014.
