Maya Angelou

Maya Angelou was known primarily (and deservedly) being a poet and best-selling writer, delivering the poem “Within the Pulse from the Morning” within President Costs Clinton’s inauguration ceremonies. She was much less known on her behalf early career being a vocalist; she herself rarely described this element of her history. In 1957, at age 27, she produced a recording being a calypso vocalist, Miss Calypso, which contains quite reputable calypso with gentle pop and globe music affects. Also offering light electric guitar, conga, drum, and bongo accompaniment, the record was reissued on Compact disc in 1996. Maya Angelou passed away on, may 28, 2014 at her house in Winston-Salem, NEW YORK at age 86. Her transferring brought worldwide representation on her lengthy presence among the most significant African-American authors, performers, activists, and teachers of her period.
