Maurice Deebank

The lead guitarist and chief songwriter for 1980s British punk band Felt, Maurice Deebank continued to fuse the unrelenting drive of punk as well as the sophistication of classical music like a soloist. His single albums Inner Idea Area, released in 1984, and Crimson Heaven, which adopted 11 years later on, had been masterpieces of psychedelic exploration. Deebank planted the seed products that grew into Thought within the early-’80s, when he started to rehearse with bass participant Nick Gilbert. Using the entrance of vocalist/guitarist Laurence (Hayward), who became bandleader, and drummer Gary Ainge, the first Was feeling lineup was solidified.
