Malformed Earthborn

Malformed Earthborn was a unique side task featuring bassists Shane Embury (Napalm Loss of life) and Danny Lilker (Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, Brutal Truth, etc.), with drummer Scott Lewis (Brutal Truth). Shaped in the summertime of 1992, the trio got their sonic cues from weighty industrialists like Ministry and Godflesh, noise-rock performers like Swans, and classic speed metallic to concoct an intense, but strangely dance-inflected work in 1995’s Defiance from the Ugly with the Simply Repulsive. Understandably, the record left many supporters of the music artists’ other tasks feeling rather baffled, and, whether through coincidence or style, Malformed Earthborn had not been heard from once again.
