Makhaya Mahlangu

South Africa’s jazz custom were only available in the 1950s by such influential music artists as Abdullah Ibrahim (Buck Brand) and Hugh Masekela was inherited by saxophonist, percussionist, and composer Makhaya Mahlangu. Alongside guitarist/vocalist Sipho Gumede and keyboardist Jabu Nkosi, Mahlangu created among South Africa’s very best Afro-fusion rings, Sakhile, in 1982. Through the a bit more than a 10 years that these were collectively, Sakhile helped provide the jazz of South Africa towards the worldwide stage.
