An emerging jazz vocalist with origins in gospel and blues, Lois Deloatch Dawson studied in the College or university of NEW YORK and appeared using the BSM Gospel Choir. She started teaching music workshops around the region, studied using the vocal trainer Martha Blossoms and was advanced towards the semi-finals of BET’s Jazz Finding Display. Dawson released her 1st recording, the earthy Sunrise, in 1998.
