Dub Rifles

The Dub Rifles, classified by many being a ska band, formed in 1980, in Winnipeg. Associates were lead vocalist/guitarist Colin Bryce, drummer Eloi Bertholet, saxophonist Matthew Challenger, and bassist Clint Bowman. A calendar year following group’s birth, another saxophonist, Dave Dark brown, was brought in to the combine. After completing three EPs, the Dub Rifles reached the finish of the series in 1984. During its brief lifestyle, the Dub Rifles toured around elements of Canada; each gig on the way gaining the group an increasing number of supporters. In 1982, the band’s initial EP, No City No Nation, was completed beneath the Notown Information label. The five-track debut was implemented a year afterwards by two even more EPs, Increase and one self-titled providing. Some tunes finished up on several compilations, but nothing at all else adopted after those last recordings in 1983.
