Another darkly psychedelic task from the Vancouver space rock and roll ensemble Black Hill, Lightning Dust formed in the first 2000s with Amber Webber and Joshua Wells. The duo released its folky self-titled debut recording in the summertime of 2007, chasing it up with a UNITED STATES tour alongside the Cave Performers. In ’09 2009, the duo released its sophomore recording, the elegant and meditative Infinite Light. This year 2010 these were selected by curator Matt Groening to execute in the All Tomorrow’s Celebrations festival. Third recording Fantasy found its way to 2013, marking a sonic change toward minimal digital beats and synth textures augmenting the band’s advanced songcraft.
