Kreesha Turner

A local of Edmonton, Canada, R&B/pop singer/songwriter Kreesha Turner was created to a Canadian dad and Jamaican mom. Developing up, Turner researched dance and paid attention to a number of musical performers, including jazz pianist Oscar Peterson, vocalist Erykah Badu, and hip-hop group A Tribe Known as Quest. At age group 15 she spent a yr surviving in Jamaica, where she started singing inside a Pentecostal chapel. The knowledge deepened her link with her Jamaican history and also influenced her to keep performing. Once back Canada, Turner got associated with the neighborhood hip-hop picture and later started writing and carrying out her own tracks.
