Jumprope

The Boston-based indie pop quartet Jumprope was formed in later 1995 by singer/guitarist Ad and his vocalist sister Noelle, who had recently returned from NEW YORK using a demonstration tape of her original songs. Advertisement performed the cassette for his friend Cindy, who subsequently responded using a tape of her very own original materials; with the next addition of drummer Tom, Jumprope was created. Debuting in middle-1996 using the No Content Music EP — the inaugural discharge over the Twee Kitten label — the group implemented with some compilation performances, issuing The Pensive EP in 1997. Another circular of compilation monitors preceded the discharge of Jumprope’s full-length debut, 1998’s Bookshelf Travels.
