Marin was a composer and vocalist who was simply also an ordained priest. By 1644 he was operating to a chapel monastery in Madrid performing like a tenor. In 1656 he was accused of robbery and multiple murder and was consequently whipped, defrocked and banished from Madrid for a decade; nevertheless, by 1657 he was once again living there. Marin was respectable by his contemporaries for both his performing and composing skill. Most of his vocal compositions add a electric guitar accompaniment or a continuo.
