Jorge Dalto

The former pianist and music movie director for George Benson, Jorge Dalto is constantly on the fuse pop, jazz and Afro-Latin influences. The first choice from the InterAmerican Music group, which presented his wife, Adela, on vocals, through the middle-1980s, Dalto offers continued to create on his internationally-flavored sound. His latest collaborations along with his wife possess combined their Latin and Brazilian backgrounds. Argentina-born Daltoserved as arranger for the Percussion Jazz Outfit, a super-group of Latin music artists including timbale participant Tito Puente, conga participant Carlos “Patato” Valdes and violinist Alfredo De La Fe, within the early-1980s. Recordings from the band’s overall performance in the Montreux Jazz Celebration, in 1980, had been released in 2000. Dalto provides consistently documented with top-notch players. His record, Rendezvous, documented in Feb 1983 and released ten years later, was acknowledged to Jorge Dalto & Super Close friends, a studio music group offering guitarists Benson and Eric Gale and drummer Steve Gadd.
