Pianist John R. Burr combines a jazzy design with a like of folk music and singer-songwriters, and provides lent his abilities to recordings with the Alison Dark brown Quartet and Paul McCandless, amongst others. McCandless came back the favour by guesting on Burr’s debut single work, 1998’s Piedmont Avenue.
