The classical violinist Jack O’Brien shouldn’t be confused with various other performers using the same name, especially “Philadelphia” Jack O’Brien, a prizefighter who also happened to try out violin. The much less punchier O’Brien’s professional affiliations are the Griller Quartet — a string quartet led by violinist Sidney Griller rather than a quadrumvirate of cookout fiends.
