Inverloch

Shaped in 2011 by guitarist Matt Skarajew and drummer Paul Mazziotta, both of whom had been founding members of cult Aussie death steel legends diSEMBOWELMENT, Melbourne’s Inverloch focus on crushing, atmospheric, and unequivocally funereal doom steel. This year 2010, Skarajew and Mazziotta produced an announcement that they might be executing diSEMBOWELMENT’s lone 1993 studio room album Transcendence In to the Peripheral in its entirety on the Roadburn Festival in holland beneath the moniker d.USK.. Many gigs afterwards, they made a decision to rename themselves Inverloch, and within a couple of months got inked a cope with Relapse Information. Now an effective band curved out by vocalist Ben Adam, guitarist Tag Cullen, and bass participant Chris Jordan, they released their debut EP, Dusk/Subside, via the label in 2012, accompanied by the full-length Length Collapsed in early 2016.
