Biography
The merenhouse unit Los Ilegales was formed within the Dominican Republic by frontman/producer Vladimir Dotel, Victor Waill, Manuel Tejada and Roger Sanchez. Though criticized from the press within their indigenous land because of the electronic upgrade of the original merengue design, the group became probably one of the most well-known organizations in Central and SOUTH USA, specifically big in Venezuela, Mexico, Chile and Spain. Using their debut recording, the solitary “La Morena (Burn off It Up)” became a big success in 1995. Their second recording Rebotando was also well-known, because of the solitary “Un Taqui Taqui.” The Remixes collection implemented in 1998, as do En la Mira. Ilegales 2000 was released in later 2000.
