Derek “Dek” Fearnley

Derek “Dek” Fearnley was bassist in the Hype, the group that backed David Bowie live for some of his 1966 concert events, and in addition supported him about several singles that 12 months. The Hype and David Bowie break up in Dec 1966, however the Hype did perform some classes with him for Bowie’s debut recording in early 1967, and Fearnley experienced the strongest part of any Hype member, as he also contributed to arrangements. Fearnley’s sibling Gerald Fearnley required the cover picture of this LP; Dek Fearnley remaining music altogether soon afterward.
